I have been interpreting as part of my job description for more than 20 years. I lived in Sierra Leone, West Africa, for 10 years actively teaching English as a second language to Sierra Leoneans and teaching foreigners Krio. I also interpreted every day in education, medical and legal settings. Since I returned to the US, I interpret anywhere necessary as Krio interpreters are difficult to come by in any sector. I was the lead Krio interpreter at the British High Court in 2018.
